Job Full Description
This position is responsible for post-sintering coining operations and supporting 3D printing activities. The technician ensures printed components meet specifications through inspection, rework, and finishing processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the 3D Printing Supervisor.
- Inspect, evaluate, and rework 3D printed components using various hand tools to ensure conformance to print specifications.
- Assist with additional 3D printing operations as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand English.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to operate, or willingness to be trained on, Keyence Vision Inspection Systems.
- Ability to read part prints and understand dimensional tolerances.
- Ability to inspect small parts under magnification and identify defects.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to use hand measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, etc.).
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Machining experience is a plus.
- Unloading components from sintering furnaces.
- Mixing feedstock materials.
- 3D printing preparation and setup.
- Support removal from printed components.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm
