CNC Mill/Lathe Machinist – $25–$40/hr DOE | 1st & 2nd Shift Available
Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced CNC Machinists who can confidently set up and operate mills and lathes while maintaining tight tolerances and high-quality standards. Pay Rate: $25–$40/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st & 2nd shifts available
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
- Manage tooling, offsets, and tool life
- Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and engineering specifications
- Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Maintain tight tolerances and ensure part quality
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Work collaboratively while managing multiple projects and deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes)
- Experience with machine setup and operation
- Working knowledge of G & M codes
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Proficient in shop math and measurement tools
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
