KITTING & INVENTORY SPECIALIST NEEDED
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Kitting & Inventory Specialist for a manufacturing company in San Diego. This is a full-time opportunity for someone with experience in inventory control, kitting, receiving, material handling, or manufacturing.
Pay: $25-$29/hour, based on experience
What You'll Do:
- Receive, count, and verify incoming materials
- Pick, kit, stage, and deliver materials to Production
- Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions
- Organize raw materials, components, and WIP
- Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages
- Use ERP/MRP or inventory management systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks when trained and authorized
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in inventory, kitting, warehouse, receiving, or manufacturing
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to read work orders, BOMs, labels, and packing slips
- ERP/MRP or barcode scanning experience is a plus
- Forklift experience is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
- Ability to lift/move materials up to 50 lbs.
