About the Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and people-focused Employment Specialist to join our on-site team in San Jose. In this role, you will play a key part in matching qualified associates with client job openings across administrative, commercial, and professional roles. You’ll use the Express Employment Professionals system to recruit, interview, and assign associates efficiently while providing exceptional service to clients and candidates. Duties
• Fill 100% of qualified job orders with urgency and accuracy
• Recruit, interview, and maintain a strong pool of skilled associates
• Follow the Express Employee Selection Process and document all activities
• Coordinate client interviews and associate assignments
• Conduct employment verifications and associate follow-ups
• Adhere to federal/state employment laws and Express guidelines
• Develop working knowledge of local labor markets and industry trends
• Support a positive, collaborative office environment
Requirements
• Strong phone, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment
• Comfort working with computer systems and documentation tools
• Knowledge of or interest in staffing, recruiting, or HR
• Ability to sit for extended periods and work effectively under stress
• Professionalism, reliability, and a customer service mindset
