A leading workplace services organization is seeking a Client Services Representative to support daily mailroom, shipping, receiving, and customer service operations at a professional business environment in San Jose. The successful candidate will play a key role in mail distribution, shipping and receiving activities, inventory support, and workplace logistics while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to employee and client requests.
- Receive, sort, distribute, track, and process incoming and outgoing mail, courier packages, and accountable deliveries.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including verifying deliveries and maintaining accurate records.
- Pack, label, and prepare parcels for shipment while minimizing transportation damage.
- Track package status and provide shipment updates to internal customers.
- Maintain organized mailroom, warehouse, and inventory areas.
- Assist with cross-functional operational support and provide coverage for additional site services as needed.
- Report customer concerns, operational issues, and service disruptions to management in a timely manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Previous customer service, mailroom, shipping/receiving, warehouse, or administrative support experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including email and data entry.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
