Seeking an organized and detail-oriented Experienced Dental Biller to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dental billing processes, a strong understanding of insurance claims, and excellent communication skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and submit dental insurance claims accurately and timely.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.
- Follow up on outstanding claims and resolve any discrepancies.
- Post payments and manage accounts receivable.
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim denials and appeals.
- Maintain patient billing records and documentation.
- Assist with patient inquiries related to billing and insurance.
- Collaborate with the dental team to improve billing processes.
- Stay updated on industry changes and insurance policies.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in dental billing or a similar role.
- Proficiency in dental billing software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
