- Thu 7/9 - 9am-6pm
- Fri 7/10 - 11:45pm - 5pm (overnight)
- Sat 7/11 - 6:30pm - 12:30am
Pay: $25 per hour (free/reserved parking)
Description:
Our client is looking for reliable, detail-oriented General Labor/Event Setup & Take Down Crew members to support a multi-day wedding event installation. This role is highly physical and requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow directions accurately, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. Crew members will assist in transforming a venue space from start to finish by setting up and breaking down all event components including chairs, tables, dance floors, stages, drapery/curtains, centerpieces, and other décor items. Shifts may include daytime, evening, and overnight hours.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and take down event elements including chairs, tables, dance floor, stage, drapes/curtains, and décor
- Load, unload, and move materials efficiently and safely
- Follow instructions from on-site lead and adhere to exact placement standards
- Maintain a safe work environment and use proper lifting techniques
- Assist with basic tool use (power drills and hand tools) as needed
- Communicate and stay responsive during shift (crew group chat)
Qualifications or Requirements:
- General labor or light construction experience helpful
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling)
- Comfortable with ladder work (no work above 6 ft)
- Strong attention to detail, excellent listening skills, and ability to follow directions
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
