Job Full Description
We have recently had a vacancy open up in our Metal/Foam department. We are in need of a production laborer to fill this position.
Our owner prefers that this position be filled by an able bodied man. It is a physically demanding position that requires heavy lifting at times. Currently we have Duane, Jose Magana and Emmanuel R working in our facility. Another person just like them would be perfect. We need someone who can show up on time, be here every day when they are scheduled and put forth effort while they are here. No experience is necessary. We will train them and provide all PPE. A good attitude and willingness to work is a must!
Here are an example of duties in each department:
Foam Department:
Retrieving of foam molds from storage area using cart
Waxing of molds in preparation for pouring foam
Pour foam using hydraulic machine
Clamp molds closed using “C” clamps
Remove “C” clamps once part is cured
Carefully remove cured part from mold
Metal Department
Assist where needed in metal department
Trace patterns onto sheet metal
Cut sheet metal when needed
Operate Hydraulic Press to form base plates
Debur and finish base plates
Spot weld hardware onto base plates
Smooth edges of formed base plate with hammer and anvil
Our owner requires that a background check be in process and that HR Training is complete before we consider any candidate. Once they meet that requirement, we can schedule a 4 hour working interview.
