Our Client in North Hollywood is seeking a Pre-Weigh/Compounder!
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate Weighing: Accurately weigh and measure ingredients according to specified formulations and batch records to ensure precision in production.
- Material Preparation: Prepare and label raw materials in accordance with established procedures, ensuring all materials are accounted for before production runs.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of weights, measurements, and any deviations from standard procedures to ensure traceability and compliance.
- Quality Control: Conduct preliminary quality checks on raw materials to confirm they meet specifications and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to coordinate material requirements and ensure timely availability for manufacturing processes.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies to promote a safe working environment.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in chemistry or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment, preferably in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurement and documentation.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of GMP and safety standards related to manufacturing.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pre-weigher role.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment, preferably in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals.
- Experience with the Pre-weighing of all types of products related with Personal, Body & Hair, and Home Care products, as well as OTC products such as SPF’s, etc etc. line is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of compounding processes and equipment.
- Excellent
- Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety training are desirable.
- Forklift Certified.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to machinery noise and temperature variations.
- Ability to work in extreme wet conditions and navigate slippery surfaces safely.
- Exposure to various cleaning chemicals; proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
- May require working in shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- Physical demands include standing for long periods, bending, reaching, and lifting heavy objects.
- Fast-paced environment requiring adherence to strict deadlines and safety protocols.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- May be required to work overtime or varying shifts as needed.

-Required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time during the course of work shift.
- Routinely required to stoop, bend, kneel, lift, push, pull and reach in the performance of their job.
-Requires the essential use of hands, speech, eyesight, and hearing.
- Routinely required to climb stairs to access material.
- Lifting limitations for this position: 50 lbs.
-Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral and
depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus as needed.
-Noise level for this work environment is typically moderate.
- Periods of odoriferous environment.
