A handyperson needs to understand what vendors doing/conduct price comps are.  This position needs to have a sense of urgency to identify hazardous conditions and fix them or hire to fix them asap. Then, track those repairs, snap photos of all corrective actions.

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, Qualified Driver
Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Non-Exempt The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator position exists to resolve facility challenges and promote a safer work environment.  This position requires a sense of urgency to prevent accidents and injuries. Many tasks involve meeting regulation standards by a variety of entities including, but not limited to the Fire Department, Department of Water and Power, etc.

This position identifies, repairs, or arranges repairs involving the facility (building, lot, warehouse, shop, office, etc.), facility equipment, tools, vehicles, storage rooms, employee supplies, etc. As a coordinator, this position is responsible for harmoniously organizing the workflow between people by effectively communicating tasks and projects. This position identifies and tackles action items and/or follows tasks and projects until completion. Then, inspect completed work to ensure quality work.

This position combines clerical computer savviness, communications, with hands-on repair skillsets, and a keen eye for detail.
Essential Responsibilities
  *   Uses Tasks to self-monitor tasks and projects.
  *   Conduct safety walkthroughs, identify concerns, discuss tasks.
  *   Either repairs or arranges repairs via standard procedures.
  *   Compare prices, services, and vendors.
  *   Inspects employee PPE for tears/damage. Inspects harness.
  *   Inspects and arranges forklifts and vehicle maintenance.
  *   Inspects vehicle documents for compliance.
  *   Effectively communicates with vendors and employees entirely through approved devices such as company computer, tablet, walkie talkie, and office phones.
  *   Inspects/orders/picks up supplies, PPE, etc,
  *   Reports supply workflow issues to improve supply workflow.
  *   Maintains SDS, complies with CUPA, CERS Hazardous Business Materials Plan, inspects facility for fire extinguisher blocking, and other regulation requirements listed on walkthrough checklist and/or Tasks.
  *   Timely plan agenda prioritizing urgent regulation requirements.
  *   Responsible handling of hazardous material. Example: Tarp with weights underneath hazardous waste when handling material. Coordinates safe removal in compliance with the regulation.
  *   Drives company vehicles to run company errands.
  *   Arrange water dispenser filter replacement, inspections, and repairs.
  *   Arrange trash pickup. Arranges vendors.
  *   Rarely drives longer distances. Example Little Rock.
  *   Effectively communicates with regulatory agencies including but not limited to alarm companies, fire departments, air quality agencies, etc.
  *   Maintains spreadsheets, and creates spreadsheets to keep organized
  *   Uses digital calendar and Tasks to effectively self-manage workflow and push tasks towards completion.
  *   Accurately enters and retrieves data into/from lists, charts, graphs, or another record-keeping system.
  *   The ability to read, speak, and write in English fluently to retrieve, understand, and communicate essential information is required.
  *   This position contributes to the end goal of customer satisfaction.  It requires an individual who demonstrates sound decision-making skills. This position supports employees who have direct customer contact. Employees need this position's task satisfaction to impact their positive demeanor with customers.
  *   Demonstrates a collaborative attitude under pressure.
  *   Backup warehouse support
  *   Operates forklift in compliance with forklift safety training, including notifying supervisor if accidentally bumping into object or structure with the forklift.
  *   Uses sit-down forklift in accordance with training provided.
  *   Maintains Facilities log for both North Hollywood and Arizona.
  *   Coordinates facilities vendor tasks for Arizona via effective communication with onsite employees. Follows safety inspection tasks and action items involving Arizona.
  *   This position evolves as the position skillset develops. As such, the position is assigned to other special projects in support of business and customer needs.
