Swiss Machine Operator
Chatsworth, CA
Full time – Temp to hire
Monday thru Friday – 7am to 3:30pm
$25 to $30hr depending on experience.
Busy manufacturing supplier of custom, made to print, precision machined products to the Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Medical, Electronics and Commercial sectors is looking for a Swiss Machine Operator to join their team in Chatsworth.
Summary: Seeking an experienced Swiss Machine Operator to manufacture and machine parts to customer requirements. Direction is gained from Job Travelers, First Article Inspection Reports, Quality Control Plans, and Part Specific Specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Set-Up Machines.
- Running first piece article ready for inspection.
- Verifying parts by using precision measuring equipment.
- Changing tools and offsets based in cutting conditions.
- Revising programs as need.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience as a Swiss Machine Operator.
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily work assignments.
- Positive attitude.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
- Ability to use various inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height.
