HR Coordinator

Sherman Oaks, CA

Full time – Temp to hire

Monday through Friday – 8am to 5pm -Monday and Friday work from home, Tuesday through Thursday in office.

$23 to $30hr depending on experience.

 

Nashville Hot Chicken restaurant with multiple locations throughout California is seeking a HR Coordinator to join their team at their corporate headquarters in Sherman Oaks.

 

Summary: Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting various HR functions, including recruiting, payroll and working with restaurant managers. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English and will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture. Must have experience with the Ceridian Dayforce platform.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain and update the Human Resources Information System (Ceridian Dayforce), ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Collaborate with management on workforce management strategies to optimize staffing levels and employee engagement.
  • Support talent management programs, including onboarding, training, and development initiatives.
  • Prepare HR-related documentation and reports as needed for compliance and organizational needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings and maintaining records.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience with Ceridian Dayforce Human Capital Management (HCM) platform.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as Dayforce or Oracle is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of employee evaluation processes and performance management best practices.
  • Familiarity with workforce management principles and talent management strategies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in data collection methods and analysis to support HR initiatives.
  • Previous experience in recruiting or human resources is a plus.
