Monday thru Friday – 6:30am to 3pm

Busy company offering a wide range of solutions for businesses, including IT services, digital transformation, and enterprise content management, including Managed Print Services (MPS), which helps businesses optimize their print infrastructure and reduce costs is seeking a Document Imaging Tech to join their team in Chatsworth.

 

Summary: Seeking a Document Imaging Tech responsible for converting paper documents into digital format for electronic retention and easy access. This involves scanning, indexing, and organizing documents to ensure accuracy and efficient retrieval. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Scanning: Converting physical documents into digital images (e.g., PDFs) using specialized equipment.
  • Indexing: Organizing and categorizing scanned documents for easy retrieval.
  • Data Entry: Accurately entering data from scanned documents into relevant systems.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring scanned images are clear, legible, and free from errors.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and troubleshooting scanning equipment.
  • File Management: Organizing and storing scanned documents electronically.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in clerical or administrative roles, with a focus on data entry or document management preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality work output.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with imaging systems and document management software is a plus but not required.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate data entry and quality of scanned documents.
  • Organizational Skills: Maintaining an efficient workflow and managing digital files.
  • Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with scanning software and file management systems.
