Inside Sales – Aerospace

Monday thru Friday - 8am to 4:30pm
$27hr to $30hr depending on experience
An innovative company providing supply chain solutions to the aerospace industry with 100,000+ unique parts in stock from over 2,500 suppliers with customers that include almost every manor aerospace and defense OEM along with many of their subcontractors is seeking an Inside Salesperson to join their team in Chatsworth. Must have 3 years or more specific aerospace experience (fasteners strongly preferred).
Summary: Seeking a driven and knowledgeable Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is critical to our continued success and requires someone with a deep understanding of the aerospace industry, specifically fasteners, with the ability to build strong relationships with OEMs, subcontractors, and other key players in the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow assigned customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for all sales inquiries.
- Respond to RFQs (Requests for Quote) accurately and in a timely manner, leveraging extensive product knowledge.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales with existing customers by understanding their needs and offering appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate closely with purchasing, operations, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of quotes, orders, and customer communications in the CRM system.
- Provide expert-level knowledge of aerospace fasteners, industry standards, and common OEM customer requirements.
- Work proactively to resolve any issues with pricing, delivery schedules, or product availability.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of direct aerospace industry experience is required (fastener experience strongly preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of OEMs, subcontractors, and common aerospace customers, no other industry experience will translate.
- Proven success in inside sales, account management, or customer service within the aerospace sector.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
