Quality Inspector
Chatsworth, CA
Full time – Temp to hire
Monday through Friday – 6am to 2:30pm
$23hr to $25hr depending on experience.
A leading manufacturer of custom engineered products, serving aircraft manufacturers, airliners, aircraft operators, completion centers and MRO’s worldwide is seeking Electrical / Mechanical Assemblers to join their team in Chatsworth.
Summary: This role is responsible for performing precision electrical and mechanical assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical assembly operations in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and established procedures.
- Assemble, wire, crimp, torque, and install components and subassemblies to meet product specifications.
- Use standard electrical and mechanical assembly tools, including crimpers, torque tools, and hand tools.
- Inspect assembled components to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting production schedules and quality expectations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience performing both electrical and mechanical assembly work.
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, schematics, and written work instructions.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
- Demonstrated ability to use standard tools required for electrical and mechanical assembly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment with minimal supervision.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Quality-focused mindset with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
