Chatsworth, CA                   
Full time – Temp to hire
Monday thru Friday – 8am to 5pm

$35hr to $38hr depending on experience.

 

A full-service custom injection molding facility providing quality injection molding and in-house precision mold making is seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team in Chatsworth.

 

Summary: The Warehouse Manager is a working, hands-on role responsible for daily warehouse operations, inventory control, material flow, and organization. This is not an administrative-only management position. The successful candidate will perform warehouse labor while also taking ownership of accuracy, efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement within the warehouse.

 

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations (Primary)

  • Receive, inspect, label, and store raw materials, finished goods, molds, and supplies.
  • Pick, stage, and issue materials to production accurately and on time.
  • Prepare finished goods for shipment and coordinate with carriers.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Inventory & Material Control

  • Maintain accurate inventory records. (raw materials, WIP, finished goods, tooling)
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
  • Track material usage and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.
  • Work closely with production and purchasing to ensure material availability.

Leadership & Accountability

  • Set daily priorities and workflow for warehouse activities.
  • Train and guide warehouse staff as needed.
  • Enforce company procedures, safety standards, and housekeeping expectations.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in manufacturing or injection molding.
  • Forklift experience. (certification preferred)
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and material flow.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
  • Experience in plastic injection molding or related manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills. (ERP, inventory systems, or spreadsheets)
  • Prior lead or supervisory experience in a small team environment.
