A Company established in the market for truly transformative, synergistic private label skincare products. Partnering with physicians, physician assistants (PAs), and nurse practitioners (NPs) to develop high-quality, customized product lines tailored for in-office retail, with a commitment to innovation, precision, and quality in the medical aesthetics and skincare industry, is seeking a Quality Control Person to join their team in Canoga Park.
Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and committed to ensuring products consistently meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality inspections on incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished skincare products.
- Verify products meet established specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Conduct visual inspections and basic testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming products.
- Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality control records.
- Assist in investigating quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with Production, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable industry regulations.
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure work areas remain clean and organized.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Support internal and external quality audits as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or related coursework is a plus.
- 1–3 years of quality control or quality assurance experience in manufacturing, cosmetics, skincare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries preferred.
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to read and follow SOPs, specifications, and work instructions.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods as needed.
