Full time – Temp to hire
Monday through Friday – 6am to 2:30pm
$18.42hr to start
A leading custom packaging manufacturer specializing in quick-turn structural samples, digital prototyping, on-site testing, and in-house pack-out services is seeking motivated and dependable Display Assemblers to join our production team in Chatsworth.
Summary: This role is responsible for assembling retail displays and packaging components while maintaining high standards for quality, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble corrugated and specialty retail displays according to work instructions, drawings, or customer specifications.
- Pack products into displays and promotional packaging as required.
- Inspect completed displays to ensure quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
- Operate basic hand tools and assembly equipment safely.
- Label, package, and prepare completed displays for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Meet daily production goals while adhering to quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and move materials as needed.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience assembling retail displays, POP displays, or corrugated packaging.
- Familiarity with packaging or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting while meeting deadlines.
