Press Feeder

Full time – Temp to hire
Monday through Friday – 6:30am to 3pm
$20hr to $25hr depending on experience.
A company delivering comprehensive branding solutions, from specialty printing to customized packaging is seeking a Press Feeder to join their team in Chatsworth.
Summary: The Press Feeder is responsible for supporting press operators by ensuring a consistent supply of materials to printing presses, maintaining workflow efficiency, and upholding quality and safety standards. This role is critical to minimizing downtime and ensuring accurate, high-quality production runs.
Responsibilities:
- Load and feed paper, board, or other substrates into printing presses according to job specifications.
- Monitor material levels and replenish supplies to maintain continuous production.
- Assist press operators with setup, changeovers, and adjustments.
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure proper alignment and positioning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of press area and equipment.
- Remove finished materials and assist with stacking, bundling, or staging for next steps.
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures. (SOPs)
- Communicate effectively with press operators and production team regarding job status and issues.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks and report equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a press feeder.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn press operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
