Duties and responsibilities
• Use of fingers, hands, arms and legs when facing shelves, receiving freight,
unloading pallets, stocking merchandise to shelves.
• Use of hand truck, dolly, box knife, pallet jack, four wheel and 6 wheel carts
when stocking freight.
• Continuous lifting of 1 lb to 25 lbs.
• Sweeping, mopping and general cleaning.
• Continuous standing for 7 to 8 hours.
• Use a 10 key, and basic math.
• Use of intercom or telephone.
• Use good suggestive selling techniques to educate customer to products in Bakery and Deli.
• Locate products for customers, prepare to desired request, price, label and package product.
• Cook chicken, burritos and other hot foods, make sandwiches, salads, pizzas, popcorn, cotton candy.
• Slice meats, cheeses, ladle salads out, obtain doughnuts, pastry, cakes from cases for customer.
• Use store intercom to alert customers of Bakery/Deli products.
• Keep work stations clean and sanitary.
• Restock products as needed and garnish as needed.
• Receive money and make change.
Schedule will vary, pay is $16.50 per hour.
