Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable and experienced CDL Class A or B Truck Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer to transport goods across various routes. The ideal candidate is safety-driven, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent service while meeting delivery deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report any maintenance concerns immediately
- Load and unload freight as needed while ensuring proper cargo securement to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate logs of hours, mileage, and shipping documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding schedules and updates
- Plan efficient delivery routes using GPS systems and real-time traffic data
- Perform basic vehicle upkeep and ensure truck cleanliness and readiness
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and federal/state transportation laws
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- 2–3 years of recent commercial driving experience preferred
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and hours-of-service compliance
- Ability to lift 50–80 lbs and sit for extended periods
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift and/or pallet jack certification
- TWIC card and/or Hazmat endorsement (plus)
