Box Truck Driver
Pay: $19–$24 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will safely operate a box truck while making local deliveries and pickups. This position also involves loading and unloading materials, completing delivery paperwork, and providing professional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck for local deliveries and pickups
- Load, unload, and properly secure products and materials
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain signatures when necessary
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns
- Keep the truck clean and organized
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable transportation regulations
- Assist with warehouse and general labor duties as needed
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Previous box truck or delivery driving experience preferred
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to lift and move materials throughout the workday
- Must be able to pass required background and drug screenings
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb throughout the workday
- Ability to load and unload products from the truck
- Ability to work in various weather conditions when making deliveries
Compensation
$19–$24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
