Express Employment Professionals of Centennial and Castle Rock is hiring a Welder / Parts Department Associate for a steel fabrication shop in Sedalia, CO. This is a great opportunity for someone with MIG welding experience who enjoys fabrication, blueprint work, and hands-on shop support.
Job Highlights:
- Perform MIG welding on ornamental railing and miscellaneous metal structures
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Measure, fit, and fabricate metal components
- Operate hand tools and basic fabrication equipment
- Conduct quality checks on completed work
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist in the parts department as needed
- Collaborate with shop team members to complete projects on time
What We Look For:
- MIG welding experience required
- Fabrication or metal shop experience preferred
- Blueprint reading and measuring skills
- Basic math and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to pass a weld test
- Press brake or plate shear experience is a plus
- Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
- Reliable, team-oriented, and comfortable in a shop environment
