Express Employment Professionals of Centennial and Castle Rock is hiring a Structural Steel Fitter for a steel fabrication company in Castle Rock, CO. This role is ideal for someone with strong blueprint reading, layout, fitting, and steel fabrication experience.
Job Highlights:
- Read and follow blueprints to meet product specifications
- Measure, calculate, and verify material requirements
- Fit and fabricate structural steel and miscellaneous metal components
- Manufacture finished metal products
- Install and repair equipment or components as needed
- Check weld quality, tolerance, and fit-up accuracy
- Work safely in a steel fabrication shop
What We Look For:
- Previous steel fitting, welding, fabrication, or manufacturing experience
- Strong blueprint and drawing interpretation skills
- Ability to measure accurately and calculate material needs
- Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
- Ability to handle a physical shop workload
- Stainless and/or aluminum skills are a plus
- Must be prepared for a weld/fit test based on experience
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded
