Express Employment is hiring for a Human Resources Compliance Auditor in Public Housing
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 DOE to start
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc audits of HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with local, national, and international labor laws
- Assess compliance with equal employment opportunity (EEO), workplace safety, wage and hour laws, data privacy, and anti-discrimination regulations
- Identify compliance gaps, risks, and control weaknesses, and develop audit findings and recommendations
- Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, risk assessments, and corrective action plans
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in HR compliance, auditing, risk management, or employment law
- Experience conducting internal audits or compliance reviews
- Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws (e.g., wage & hour, EEO, OSHA, data privacy)
- Excellent analytical and investigative skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to interpret laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
