Position: DevOps Engineer – Contract
Location: Denver, CO
Salary: $124,000/Annually - $130,000/Annually | $60.00/HR - $70.00/HR
Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in-office weekly
Job Responsibilities:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will:
- Lead initiatives to design, enhance, and manage build and release pipelines for secure, scalable, and reliable software delivery
- Design and evolve the systems that support continuous integration, automated testing, and infrastructure as code
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless deployments, observability, and high system performance
- Develop and maintain internal tools and services that streamline operational workflows and improve developer productivity
- Monitor infrastructure performance and availability, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues
- Automate manual processes and contribute to system scalability, efficiency, and resiliency
- Maintain and optimize infrastructure in a Linux/AWS environment using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Contribute to CI/CD tooling and best practices across the engineering organization
- Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and performance at scale
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience DevOps in Linux, AWS environment
- Understanding of RESTful API design and development
- AWS
- CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent
- Javascript, Typescript, Node and Java (a plus)
- Ability to work in Denver near Coors Field 3 days a week
