Job Title: Food Safety Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 per year (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We’re hiring a Food Safety Manager for a meat processing facility near Littleton, CO. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong knowledge of food safety protocols and regulatory standards. You’ll ensure daily compliance with USDA, FDA, and internal safety standards and work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize risk and ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the facility’s food safety and sanitation programs

Ensure compliance with USDA/FDA regulations, HACCP, GMPs, and company standards

Conduct audits, inspections, and internal assessments

Support incident investigations and corrective actions

Provide training to production staff on safety and sanitation procedures

Maintain accurate records for inspections, reports, and documentation

Collaborate with maintenance on proper equipment sanitation and safe operation
Qualifications:

3+ years of food safety, quality assurance, or compliance in manufacturing (meat industry preferred)

Working knowledge of USDA, HACCP, GMPs, and sanitation protocols

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and train others

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Public Health, or related field preferred but not required
