Job Title: Recruiting Specialist

Position Summary:
The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing qualified candidates for the Employment Specialist to consider for open positions with client companies. This individual plays a key role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with both candidates and the internal team members to provide exceptional service to our client. A successful Recruiting Specialist is proactive, goal-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Proactively recruit and source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, social media, referrals, and community networking.

·         Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to ensure candidate qualifications align with client needs.

·         Partner closely with the internal team (Employment Specialist) to gain a clear understanding of daily recruitment based upon client’s needs.

·         Manage the full recruiting cycle, from posting jobs to onboarding new associates.

·         Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future client openings.

·         Deliver exceptional customer service to candidates, ensuring a professional and positive experience.

·         Document and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system.

·         Collaborate closely with the sales and Employment Specialist to ensure alignment between recruitment efforts and client demand.

·         Make sales calls/connects weekly to missing clients and local decision makers to schedule appointments for the Employment Specialist or Owner (calls, drop-ins, or virtual connections) to support business development efforts.

·         Participate in job fairs, networking events, and community outreach to build brand presence and attract top talent.

Qualifications:

·         1–3 years of recruiting, staffing, or related experience preferred.

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

·         Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

·         Results-driven and motivated by achieving weekly goals and performance metrics.

·         Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging in professional sales conversations.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with applicant tracking systems a plus.

Work Environment:

·         Fast-paced, collaborative office setting.

·         Some local travel for job fairs, and community networking may be required.
