Full Charge Bookkeeper / Administrative Support
Job Duties
Our Full Charge Bookkeeper is responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day accounting functions while also supporting general administrative operations.
Accounting & Bookkeeping Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Generate monthly financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, etc.)
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Process or coordinate payroll and related reporting
- Ensure compliance with tax filings and reporting requirements
- Work with external accountants, CPAs, or tax preparers
- Maintain accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
Administrative & Office Support Duties
- Answer phones and manage general email correspondence
- Handle vendor communications and basic customer inquiries
- Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems
- Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, and expense tracking
- Support office operations and administrative tasks as needed
- Order office supplies and coordinate basic office needs
- Assist ownership/management with administrative projects and reporting
