Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth cash flow within our organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in both AP and AR processes, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Generate and send invoices to clients/customers.
- Track and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and process adjustments as needed.
- Record incoming payments and update financial records.
- Work with clients to resolve billing issues.
General Accounting Duties:
- Maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Collaborate with the accounting team on audits and financial planning.
- Support cash flow management by monitoring payables and receivables.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
