Part-Time HR/Recruiter (Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred)
Schedule: 20 hours/week, flexible hours
Reports To: HR Director, Operations Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Part-Time HR/Recruiter to support our hiring and human resources efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruiting and HR functions, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish (preferred). This position plays a key role in building a strong workforce and supporting employee relations across our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires
- Post job openings on various job boards and social media platforms
- Coordinate and conduct interviews and reference checks
- Assist in developing and maintaining job descriptions
- Support onboarding and orientation processes for new employees
- Help administer HR policies and ensure compliance with employment laws
- Maintain employee files and HR records
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and support
- Assist with communication between English and Spanish-speaking staff as needed
- Promote a positive, inclusive work environment
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Highly organized, with attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting in a warehouse setting,
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
- Comfortable working in a multicultural, bilingual environment
Compensation:
$40/hour
