Warehouse Associate – Picker/Packer, Shipping & Receiving
Multiple Local Clients | Various Shifts & Experience Levels
Express Employment Professionals is always recruiting dependable Warehouse Associates and Warehouse Workers for current and upcoming opportunities with local companies.
We recruit for warehouse positions ranging from entry-level picking and packing to experienced shipping, receiving, forklift, material handling and warehouse support roles.
If you have experience in a warehouse, distribution, shipping and receiving, order picking, packing or material handling environment, we want to hear from you.

- Packing / Production Line Support
RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE
Depending on the position and client, warehouse responsibilities may include:
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare products and orders for shipment
- Pack finished products coming off production or machine lines
- Palletize products and prepare pallets for shipping
- Use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Operate forklifts when required for the specific position
- Use RF scanners to locate, pick and track inventory
- Load outgoing trucks and shipments
- Receive and unload incoming trucks
- Verify incoming and outgoing products
- Perform shipping and receiving duties
- Enter shipping or inventory information into computer systems
- Perform basic data entry and print shipping labels
- Process product returns
- Maintain accurate order and inventory information
- Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organized and safe
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Requirements vary depending on the individual warehouse opportunity.
Relevant experience may include:
- Warehouse or distribution experience
- Order picking and packing
- Shipping and receiving
- Loading and unloading
- Palletizing
- Pallet jack operation
- Forklift operation
- RF scanner experience
- Inventory or returns processing
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
Forklift experience or licensing may be required for certain positions but is not required for every warehouse opportunity.
Candidates should also have:
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependability and punctuality
- Ability to work on their feet throughout the shift
- Physical strength and stamina appropriate for warehouse work
- Ability to read and write in English
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

PAY & BENEFITS
Express Employment Professionals associates are paid hourly unless otherwise noted. Associates accrue paid sick leave in accordance with Connecticut law.
Eligible associates may also have access to optional supplemental health benefits that they may elect or decline.
