Job Full Description

We are looking for a Technical Customer Service candidate for a local manufacturing company in Shelton, CT -- This position requires accurate, courteous, and timely customer service with a primary focus on sales functions, technical support and creative thinking to add value to customer inquiries while following established guidelines, policies, and procedures.

College degree preferred with technical/manufacturing focus.
Knowledge of MS Office, Salesforce or other CRM software, Oracle Management or comparable software
Understanding of basic electrical principles, electrical components and their basic operation a plus
Experience in use of digital power supply and multimeter, basic measuring devices like calipers/micrometers 
Experience reading drawings and wiring schematics 

  • Work closely with manufacturing and sales teams, distributors, and customers to provide excellent service and support.
  • Manage tasks efficiently and prioritize work to maintain high quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Help our manufacturing customers with product questions, quotes, returns, and other inquiries, aiming to resolve issues and exceed expectations.
  • Use internal tools and resources to explain product details and specifications to customers and team members.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions.
  • Stay informed about competitors and industry trends.
  • Support sales and marketing projects as needed.
  • Keep customer data up to date in the CRM system, including quotes, cases, and opportunities.
  • Provide regular and accurate reports to management.
  • Assist with quality reports and help improve processes.
  • Contribute to technical projects and proposals, working with various teams to bring ideas to production.
  • Help inspect products, choose components, and manage project documentation.
  • Maintain professionalism and follow company policies at all times.
