Express Employment Professionals is seeking an auto body repair technician with a strong foundation in collision repairs. An ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience in the field of collision repairs, is great working on their own or with a team, and has solid customer service skills.
Location: East Hartford, CT
Schedule: Mon - Fri, day shift
Pay: $33 + depending on experience
Duties
- Perform repairs on damaged vehicles, including bodywork and frame straightening.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment to dismantle and reassemble vehicle components.
- Conduct auto estimating to assess the extent of damage and necessary repairs.
- Apply airless paint spraying techniques for finishing touches on repaired areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes and timelines.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
- Proficiency in using hand tools.
- Knowledge of automotive repair techniques, including welding and soldering.
- Familiarity with auto-estimating processes for accurate assessments.
- Competence in airless paint spraying for vehicle finishing.
