Job title: Yard Foreman.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:30 pm, some OT on weekends.
Pay: Starting at $60,000/year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all daily yard activities, such as but not limited to equipment operations, material handling, inventory control, truck schedules, and material storage.
- Plan and schedule trucks for all projects and shipments.
- Handle multiple issues or concerns in an organized and efficient manner.
- Manage approximately 6 yard personnel by assigning tasks, supervising work, and making sure they are following all safety protocols such as OSHA standards.
- Monitor inventory of materials and supplies; coordinate procurement of needed materials.
- Maintain detailed records of all yard activities, such as equipment logs, safety inspections, and all incident reports.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or a material handling company as a site supervisor or management position.
- Previous experience in scheduling and routing of trucks.
- Forklift and other heavy equipment experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Expert ability in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
