Job Full Description
We are seeking a Granite Polisher for one of our clients. This role is responsible for polishing, finishing, repairing, and detailing natural stone and quartz surfaces to meet high‑quality fabrication standards. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with stone tools, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a shop environment. But the client will train the right person.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Stone polishing & finishing — Polish edges and surfaces to required sheen levels (honed, leathered, high‑gloss).

Edge profiling — Shape and refine edge profiles using grinders, routers, and hand tools.

Surface repair — Repair chips, pits, seams, and scratches using epoxies and color‑matching techniques.

Quality inspection — Inspect slabs and finished pieces for defects, accuracy, and finish consistency.

Tool operation — Operate polishers, grinders, wet saws, and pneumatic tools safely and efficiently.

Material handling — Assist with moving slabs using carts, clamps, and team‑lift procedures.

Shop maintenance — Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
