Job Full Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Restoration Estimator for one of our clients. This role is critical in assessing property damage and preparing accurate cost estimates for restoration projects, often following disasters such as fires, floods, or mold outbreaks. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong organizational and communication skills to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

Damage Assessment: Inspect residential, commercial, or industrial properties to evaluate the extent of damage caused by fire, water, mold, or natural disasters.

Estimate Preparation: Use specialized software to create accurate cost estimates for restoration, remediation, and mitigation projects.

Project Coordination: Manage project schedules and coordinate with restoration teams, contractors, and insurance adjusters to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of job costs, materials, labor, and unexpected conditions. Prepare budgets, work orders, and inventory logs.
Qualifications

Prior experience in restoration estimating, construction estimating, or related fields preferred

Strong knowledge of restoration processes, building materials, and industry standards

Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with clients, contractors, and insurance adjusters

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications are a plus
