Working with our client, you will use your technical training, your hands-on experience, and your problem-solving abilities to provide the solutions that keep vehicles on the road.
Job Responsibilities of an Automotive Technician:
- Assisting technician mechanics in performing technical activities.
- Diagnoses and repairs to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
- Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.
- Continuously learns new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast of rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Mechanics perform preventive maintenance and repair with efficiency and in accordance with
company standards.
- Will be required to perform used car checklists to identify what repairs need to be made, including estimated costs and timeframes of repairs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive mechanic
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
