Our client is a trusted, nationwide restoration and reconstruction company specializing in water, mold, smoke, fire, and rebuild services. We’re growing and seeking an experienced Mitigation Project Manager to join our dynamic team and oversee the successful execution of emergency mitigation projects from start to finish.
Position Summary
As a Mitigation Project Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations of mitigation jobs, ensuring timely response, compliance with industry standards, accurate documentation, and superior customer service. This role requires strong leadership, job coordination, and communication with property owners, insurance adjusters, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee mitigation projects (water, mold, smoke, and fire) from initiation through completion

Assess loss sites and develop detailed scopes of work and job estimates

Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, and equipment logistics

Ensure proper documentation, including job notes, photos, moisture readings, and work authorizations

Communicate with insurance adjusters, property managers, and clients to provide updates and resolve concerns

Enforce safety protocols and IICRC standards on job sites

Track job progress, monitor budgets, and manage job costs

Prepare and review invoices and support documentation for timely billing

Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to field mitigation teams
Qualifications
-
3+ years of experience in mitigation or restoration project management
-
IICRC certification(s) in WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT (preferred)

Working knowledge of Xactimate, MICA, or similar platforms (preferred)

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously under tight deadlines

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies
