Job Full Description
We are seeking motivated and customer-focused On-Site Leasing Agents to join our team. This role is responsible for touring apartment homes, guiding prospective residents through the leasing process, and supporting overall property operations. The ideal candidate is personable, sales-driven, and passionate about creating a welcoming living experience. Must have RealPage software knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Sales
- Greet prospective residents and conduct property tours
- Highlight features, amenities, and benefits of the community
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins
- Close leases and meet occupancy goals through effective sales techniques
- Assist with lease renewals and retention efforts
Administrative Support
- Process rental applications, background checks, and lease agreements
- Maintain accurate records in property management software
- Prepare move-in documentation and coordinate resident onboarding
- Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and company policies
Resident Relations
- Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents
- Address resident questions, concerns, and service requests professionally
- Support community events and resident engagement initiatives
- Collaborate with maintenance and management teams to ensure resident satisfaction
Property Presentation
- Ensure model units, leasing office, and common areas are clean and inviting
- Monitor curb appeal and report maintenance issues
- Assist with marketing efforts, including social media, outreach, and signage
- Track traffic sources and contribute to marketing strategy
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- 2+ years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Sales-oriented mindset with a passion for helping people find their home
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in multifamily housing or residential leasing
- Knowledge of the local rental market and fair housing regulations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, and notating tenant files
- Experience with apartment home tours, marketing, and lease renewals
