Job Full Description
We are seeking dependable and experienced Skilled Trades Associates to perform a variety of hands-on tasks across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance. This role supports construction projects, facility upkeep, and repair work, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate is versatile, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering reliable service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
General Trade Work
- Perform skilled tasks in one or more trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, drywall, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist in construction, renovation, and repair projects from start to finish
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair fixtures, systems, and equipment
Maintenance & Repairs
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Respond to service requests and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and storage spaces
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
Documentation & Communication
- Record work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients
- Report hazards, equipment malfunctions, or delays to management
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or apprenticeship preferred
- 2+ years of experience in one or more skilled trades
- Proficiency with tools, equipment, and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform physical labor
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed
Preferred Certifications
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
- Trade-specific licenses or certifications (journeyman electrician or HVAC technician)
- Forklift or equipment operation certification
