We are currently seeking a talented and driven Landscape Designer to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Landscape Designer will be responsible for creating outdoor spaces that are both beautiful and functional. This role involves working closely with clients, project managers, and construction teams to design and plan landscapes that meet client needs, environmental conditions, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Develop innovative landscape designs for residential and commercial properties

Meet with clients to assess needs, preferences, and site requirements

Create detailed design plans, 3D renderings, and construction drawings using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)

Select appropriate plant materials, hardscapes, lighting, and irrigation systems

Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and cost estimates

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams during project execution

Ensure all designs comply with local codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability practices

Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and resolve design-related issues

Stay updated on industry trends, plant materials, and innovative design techniques
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or a related field

2+ years of professional experience in landscape design (preferred)

Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar

Strong understanding of horticulture, irrigation, grading, and drainage systems

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and design aesthetics

Certification from the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD) is a plus
