Our client is a forward-thinking design firm specializing in innovative, sustainable, and impactful landscape architecture. They work across a diverse range of projects—from residential and commercial developments to public parks, urban spaces, and environmental restoration initiatives. We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Landscape Architect to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Landscape Architect will lead the design, planning, and implementation of outdoor environments that harmonize function, aesthetics, and sustainability. The ideal candidate is both a visionary and a detail-oriented professional who can take a project from concept to construction.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage landscape architecture projects from initial concept through design development, permitting, and construction

Conduct site analysis including environmental impact, drainage, soil conditions, and existing structures

Create master plans, planting plans, hardscape design, grading, and construction documents

Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhino, and GIS
-
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to develop integrated design solutions

Present design proposals and concepts to clients and stakeholders
-
Ensure all designs comply with applicable zoning laws, environmental regulations, and accessibility standards

Conduct site visits to oversee installation and ensure design intent is maintained

Stay current with trends in landscape architecture, sustainability, and green building practices
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
-
Licensure as a Landscape Architect (or in progress), depending on state requirements

3+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture

Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and project experience

Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS)

Knowledge of site planning, grading, planting design, and construction methods

Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
-
LEED accreditation or other sustainable design credentials a plus
