Job Full Description
We are seeking experienced and strategic Senior Logistics Managers to oversee and optimize our supply chain and transportation operations. This leadership role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a proven track record of managing complex logistics networks, improving efficiency, and driving cost savings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
- Oversee relationships with carriers, suppliers, and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance
- Manage a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight
- Analyze key metrics and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and corporate policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to support organizational goals
- Drive process improvement initiatives and implement technology solutions to enhance logistics operations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain management, or operations leadership
- Proven experience managing teams and complex logistics networks
- Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and ERP software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with global supply chain operations, import/export, and regulatory compliance
- Lean/Six Sigma or other process improvement certification
- Track record of successfully implementing cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements
