Job Title: Quality Control/Data Entry Tech – 1st shift
Location: Sumterville, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00am-3:30pm (Saturdays as needed)
Compensation: $18+ based on experience
Requirements: Must pass a background check and drug screen; valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred; must be able to speak and write in English; Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our 1st shift team in Sumterville, Florida. This role is responsible for performing quality control inspections and ensuring the integrity of precast concrete products. The ideal candidate has previous experience in precast construction, carpentry, or related fields and is comfortable performing physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Candidates with ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade 1 certification are preferred but training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities

Perform final quality control inspections and repairs on precast concrete products.

Conduct field inspections and address minor issues related to installation.

Perform repairs, adjustments, painting, and finishing as needed.

Address minor electrical and plumbing issues associated with installation.

Perform concrete cutting and other preparation tasks.

Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance accurately.

Use tape measure and read/interpret blueprints, prints, and plans.

Follow ASTM, AASHTO, and DOT procedures and standards.

Apply adequate mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.

Maintain attention to detail while adhering to safety protocols.

Work Saturdays as needed during peak periods.
Qualifications

Must be able to speak and write in English; bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus.

Previous experience in Quality
-
Familiarity with precast concrete products and installation preferred.

Proficiency using tools and equipment for concrete repair, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical/plumbing work.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.

Physical stamina to perform lifting and other physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.

One to two years relevant quality or construction experience preferred but willing to train.

ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade 1 preferred but training will be provided.

Must pass background check and drug screen.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
