Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Groveland, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Pay Rate: $18/hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to support overnight operations in Groveland, FL. This role is responsible for preparing organic material mixes using heavy equipment to ensure consistent and efficient production flow. Clean Background Required

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment, including front loaders, dozers, and forklifts, to prepare and move organic materials

• Push and manage material piles to maintain proper segregation

• Load materials into shakers to ensure a continuous and steady flow to processing equipment

• Maintain stockpile slopes to support a safe and organized work environment

• Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns

• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and operational guidelines

Skills & Competencies:

• Proven ability to safely operate and maintain heavy equipment (front loader, dozer, forklift)

• Knowledge of safe operating practices and workplace safety procedures

• Ability to maintain stockpile slopes and material organization

• Ability to sit in a loader for extended periods in dusty, hot conditions

• Ability to climb into and out of equipment repeatedly throughout the shift

• Ability to work in dusty environments and in hot, cold, or rainy weather

• Ability to read English and/or follow instructions and communicate effectively

Work Environment:
This position requires working outdoors and in industrial conditions, including exposure to dust, varying temperatures, and extended equipment operation during overnight hours.
