Job Full Description
Heavy Equipment/ Front-End Loader Operator
Location: Groveland, Florida
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.
Overview:
Responsible for preparing organic mixes using a heavy-equipment loader. This includes pushing and organizing material piles to maintain proper segregation and loading material into shakers to ensure a continuous flow through the machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as front loaders/dozers
- Maintain stockpile slopes to ensure a safe working environment
- Load material into shakers to support uninterrupted production
- Keep equipment clean and in good working condition
- Work safely and follow all established procedures
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy equipment
- Ability to work long hours seated in a loader in dusty, hot conditions
- Ability to repeatedly climb into and out of equipment
- Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures
- Ability to read English and/or follow verbal instructions
- Effective communication skills
- Comfortable working in dusty, hot, cold, or rainy environments
