Job Full Description
*** MUST HAVE FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE ***
Key Responsibilities
- Order Selecting: Using voice-selection software or pick lists to accurately select product
- Material Handling: Loading and unloading delivery trucks, and moving products between storage, racking, and shipping docks.
- Inventory Control: Rotating stock (FIFO - first in, first out), verifying quantities, and checking for damaged items.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operating electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and other machinery.
- Safety & Sanitation: Maintaining a clean, safe work area, adhering to OSHA standards, and complying with food safety protocols.
Requirements & Physical Demands
- Physical Strength: Ability to lift, push, and pull, often with heavy items, frequently over 50+ pounds.
- Environment: Capability to work in multi-temperature environments, including freezers and coolers.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Skills: Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
