Job Details

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm

Summary: The press operator operates presses and related equipment to perform production operations safely, efficiently and in accordance with quality and manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Operate single and double action, hydraulic or mechanical presses and feed parts, sheet or coil tock to complete production operations
• Obtain first piece approval before production runs and perform required production and quality checks to maintain quality standards
• Record quantities produced, scrap materials used and operations completed in the manufacturing operating system

Skills & Abilities:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous press operator eperience preferred
• Lean manufactring experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, use SPC and measuring devices, understand manufacturing processes and move up to 50 lbs.
