Job Overview:
The Billing of Materials specialist is responsible for overseeing the development of BOM's and their execution within the ERP planning and manufacturing systems. This position interfaces between internal teams and co-packers to ensure a clear understanding of product requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Create, modify and maintain accurate and consistent multi-level BOM's
- Setup item numbers in ERP system
- Manage inventory levels and supplies across the distribution center, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet demand.
- Analyze sales data and inventory levels to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the management team to optimize inventory levels and reduce stockouts.
- Conduct financial analysis to optimize inventory costs and identify areas for process improvement.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed inventory records and reports.
- Utilize data visualization tools to analyze inventory data and identify trends and patterns.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and safety standards.
- Utilize SQL to analyze inventory data and create reports.
Requirements:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Be an effective communicator between departments
- Experience with ERP systems
- Strong understanding of materials management and inventory control.
- Ability to analyze data and create detailed reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
